What We Do
Black Walnut Grove Estate is located on a historic family farm in West College Corner, Indiana just a few minutes west of Oxford, Ohio. This beautiful country estate features a historic 19th century farmhouse, a rustic timber frame, post and beam constructed barn with hand hewn wood throughout, and a mid-century two-bedroom guest cabin. Although the house and barn are no longer part of a functioning farm, the current owner has transformed the 11 acre grounds into a cozy and elegant venue, complete with plenty of vintage and rustic charm, for weddings and other events.

Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding day so wonderful. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the gorgeous barn and pretty little pond. I loved all the trees and having so many options for areas to take pictures. Truly couldn't have asked for a better experience!

This was an absolute perfect day! The venue was stunning and it was all we could have imagined! The house and cabin are beyond perfect for the parties to get ready in. The owner made sure everything was neat and ready for the day. Overall it was a great experience. The only thing to make sure of is that since it is a personal property where someone lives, she does have rules on timing (ex. , quiet by 11 PM). This was not a problem for us and she makes it clear when you book! It's a beautiful place for an outdoor wedding!

The wedding venue was beautiful! Perfect site for a country wedding! Bonnie was extremely easy to work with. She went out of her way to make sure the day was perfect. We could not have chosen a better place for our special day!

Bonnie was amazing! This wedding venue is affordable, beautiful and all around amazing. I recommend this venue to anyone wanting a rustic feel. I would work with Bonnie over and over again. I loved every bit of it. The cabin onsight was also gorgeous.

We are so pleased we chose Black Walnut Grove Estate for our daughter's July wedding. Bonnie was a pleasure to work with. The grounds were beautiful and well manicured. The ceremony and reception were perfect. The location is perfect for Indiana/Ohio. We wouldn't have changed a thing. It was an amazing day.

Attended a class reunion here. The barn is a real barn and was neat, clean and bright. Ground were immaculate. There is also a large pool. You also have the option of renting the cottage next door. The cottage was adorable and also clean and neat.

The Barn
The picturesque antique barn features concrete floors, 2 stunning farmhouse chandeliers, strings of twinkling Edison lights, a large bar, and a large covered back porch overlooking the grounds.
The Farmhouse & Cottage
The bridal ready room in the main farmhouse is large and spacious with beautiful decor. It can accommodate several hair and make-up station areas. Also available for use is a lovely 1960s two bedroom cabin complete with modern amenities and conveniently located just steps away from the barn.
The Grounds
The large grounds offer a beautiful setting for your outdoor ceremony and reception with mature trees, a pond and rustic split-rail fence, fountains, a tree swing and much more! A large white arch and 4 white church pews are available to turn this area into a picture perfect backdrop for your special day.
